An exciting exhibition for flowers and vegetables was hosted at South Wootton Village Hall.

Lynn Horticultural Society produced a spectacle for the group’s annual show on August 13.

The day featured the likes of a showcase of flowers, pot plants, cookery, arts, crafts and a junior section.

The theme for this year was “environment” and also included a dedicated category for the coronation of King Charles III.

There were more than 100 classes which were judged by West Norfolk’s Deputy Mayor Paul Bland who also presented prizes on the day.

There were three entries in the one-off competition representing the recent Coronation.

A total of 29 trophies were given out on the day, with Selina Povey winning the Caithness Crystal vase after receiving the most points across the show.

Other winners were Penny Hipkin, Rachel Vyse, Terrie Hill, Finlay Thompson, Lucy Mills, Edward Mills, Stella Mills and the Goodwins Hall Care Home.
